Proudly Serving Denver and Surrounding Areas
It doesn't take much. A shopping cart in a parking lot. A branch brushing against the door. Someone squeezing past your car with a bag. Life in Denver means your paint is constantly exposed to things that leave marks.
Most light scratches and scuffs sit in the clear coat and look worse than they actually are. The right polishing technique can remove or significantly reduce them without repainting or touching up with a brush.
We use machine polishing to carefully work the area around the scratch, leveling the clear coat until the defect blends out. The result is a smooth, clean finish that looks like the scratch was never there. This is the same process and equipment used in our full paint correction service, just focused on the specific spots that need attention.
We come to your home or office anywhere in Denver and the surrounding area. A water spigot and outdoor outlet are ideal, but we can work without them if needed.
Not all scratches are the same. We look at the damage under direct light to figure out how deep it goes. If your fingernail catches in it, the scratch is likely through the clear coat and into the base paint. Those can be improved but not fully removed with polishing. If the scratch is in the clear coat only, we can usually make it disappear. You can also send photos ahead of time for a quick assessment.
We wash and clay bar the area around the scratch. Any dirt or bonded contamination left on the surface will cause new scratches during polishing. This step makes sure we're working on clean paint.
Using a dual-action machine polisher, we work the scratched area with the right pad and compound combination. The goal is to level the clear coat around the scratch until it blends smooth. We check progress under direct light as we go, removing only as much material as needed to get the job done.
Once the scratch is corrected, we apply wax or sealant to protect the area. We inspect under different lighting to confirm the results and make sure the surrounding paint looks consistent. No haze, no buffer trails, just a clean finish.

Not every scratch can be fully removed through polishing. Scratches that sit in the clear coat respond well to machine correction. Deeper scratches that go through to the base paint or primer can be improved but won't disappear completely. We'll be honest about what's realistic before we start any work.
Same tools, same technique, same price. The difference is scope. Scratch removal targets specific problem areas on one or two panels. Paint correction addresses the entire vehicle for things like swirl marks, water spots, and oxidation across all the paint. If you've got scratches plus overall dullness, paint correction covers both.
No. The correction is permanent because we're physically removing the damaged clear coat material. The scratch itself won't reappear. But the area can pick up new scratches from future contact just like any other part of your paint. Keeping up with wax or sealant helps protect it going forward.
We don't do paint touch-up or respraying. Our process is polishing only. For scratches that go through to bare metal, a body shop would be the right call. For clear coat scratches and scuffs, which are the majority of what people deal with, machine polishing handles it.
Run your fingernail across it. If your nail catches and you can feel a ridge, it's likely into the base coat and will need more than polishing. If your nail glides over it smoothly and you can only see it in certain light, that's a clear coat scratch and a good candidate for removal. When in doubt, send us a photo and we'll let you know.
